What does a Relationship Coaching session look like?
At the start of our sessions, I will ask you, "What do you hope to achieve from our discussion?" This sets a clear intention for our conversation and ensures we focus on your desired outcomes.
Recognizing that you hold the wisdom within, my role is to empower you to discover solutions, promoting your autonomy, responsibility, and self-accountability for the changes you seek in your relationships.
Sessions may include brief meditations or visualizations to aid in reflection and clarity. Additionally, I may offer resources and tools to support your ongoing growth and development.
Topics commonly addressed in relationship coaching include:
-
Navigating challenging relationship dynamics
-
Processing emotions within relationships
-
Personal growth and self-discovery within the context of relationships
-
Addressing specific relationship issues
-
Making important decisions that impact your relationships
My aim is for every client to leave our sessions feeling supported, empowered, and optimistic about their relationship journey. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can authentically express yourself, explore vulnerability, and navigate your emotions effectively. It is my sincere hope that through our work together, you find peace, healing, and growth, moving closer to the fulfilling relationships and life you envision.
What is Wellness Coaching/ is it the same as therapy?
Wellness Coaching is not the same as or a substitute for therapy. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorder, PTSD, substance abuse or addiction, suicidal ideation or thought disorders, I recommend that you find a therapist that is a good match for you and I can even refer you to one or assist in the process of finding one. If you are working with a therapist you can still do Wellness Caching with me.
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
What does a Dreamwork session look like?
I strongly encourage all of my clients to keep a dream journal. Even if you don't remember your dreams very well, you can still write down whatever you do remember. This will help you to develop better dream recall, and, you can often use even just a small bit of a dream in dreamwork.
For our dreamwork sessions you will have to send me a copy of your dream journal entry in advance so I can review it before our session. In our session, we will review the dream together and explore the images, themes and emotions involved. We will work together using a process inspired by Carl Jung to discover the meaning of your dream which is very personal to each dreamer. We will then work together to see how this new information can be integrated into your life and your personal development and healing process.
